Refund Policy

ElyIT is committed to student satisfaction. We want you to feel confident enrolling in our programs. The following policy outlines your refund eligibility based on when and how far you progress through your course.

14-Day No-Questions-Asked Refund

You are eligible for a full refund if no course content has been accessed within 14 calendar days of purchase.

"Accessing content" means:

  • Completing 10% or more of a module in Moodle, or
  • Submitting any graded quiz in Moodle

Simply logging in to Moodle does not count as accessing content.

Note: The $35 Application Fee is excluded from this refund. See Section E below.

Module-Consumption Deduction Rule

Once content has been accessed or after the 14-day window has passed, the full individual retail price of each accessed course is deducted from any refund.

Bundle pricing does not reduce this deduction — the individual course's retail price applies regardless of what was paid as part of a bundle.

Example: A student purchases the CompTIA Foundations Bundle at a bundled price. If the student accesses CompTIA A+ (individual retail price $695), the full $695 is deducted from the refund — regardless of the lower bundle price paid.

Courses within bundles unlock sequentially — you cannot access Course 2 until Course 1 is complete.

Hard Time Limit: 60 Days

No refunds will be issued after 60 calendar days from the enrollment date, regardless of how much content has been accessed or whether any content has been accessed at all.

ESA-Funded Enrollments

Important Notice for Arizona ESA Families

ESA refunds are governed by Arizona Department of Education (ADE) policy. ElyIT cannot refund ESA dollars back to the family — unused funds are returned directly to ADE.

  • ElyIT cannot redirect ESA refunds to siblings, future purchases, or store credit.
  • The parent/guardian is responsible for notifying ADE of any cancellation per ADE's process.

Application Fee: Non-Refundable

A one-time Application Fee of $35.00 is charged on your first purchase with ElyIT. This fee covers administrative costs associated with establishing your student account and enrollment record.

The Application Fee is non-refundable in all circumstances with one exception: if ElyIT cancels a course or program before it begins, the Application Fee will be refunded in full.

ClassWallet Processing Fee: Non-Refundable

The 2.5% ClassWallet Direct Pay processing fee included in ESA invoices is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Extenuating Circumstances

ElyIT understands that unexpected life events happen. Requests for refunds outside the standard policy due to extenuating circumstances — such as serious illness, family emergency, or other significant hardship — will be reviewed and considered at ElyIT's sole discretion. A partial refund may be offered based on the circumstances presented.

To submit an extenuating circumstances request, contact us with documentation supporting your situation.

Payment Plans

ElyIT offers buy now, pay later installment options (such as Klarna) at no additional cost to you. No convenience or processing fee is added for using installment payment methods.

Refunds on installment purchases are applied to reduce or eliminate remaining installments first. Any refund amount in excess of the remaining balance is returned to the original payment method per Klarna's refund policy.
