ESA Enrollment Terms

These terms govern enrollment at ElyIT for students whose tuition is funded through an Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA). Please read this page in full before submitting an ESA enrollment request.
What is ESA Enrollment?
ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) families use Arizona Department of Education funds to pay for approved educational services. ElyIT is an approved Arizona ESA vendor.
ESA families follow a separate enrollment path from standard credit card checkout — payments are processed through ClassWallet, not Stripe.
Enrollment Process
Submit an ESA enrollment request on the ElyIT website — at checkout, select "Pay with ESA / ClassWallet".
ElyIT generates a ClassWallet-compliant invoice within 1 business day and sends it to your email.
Log into ClassWallet and approve the payment to ElyIT.
ElyIT confirms receipt and activates your student's Moodle learning access.
Your student begins coursework on learn.elyit.com.
Invoice Requirements
All ElyIT invoices for ESA families include the following:
- Student (beneficiary) full name
- Service dates
- Itemized course descriptions
- Per-item pricing
- ElyIT's vendor information and EIN
- Total amount due
Invoices are provided as PDF and are suitable for direct upload to ClassWallet or ADE expense reporting. All invoices are issued per ADE documentation standards.
Pricing & Processing Fee
ElyIT accepts ClassWallet Direct Pay for all ESA-funded enrollments.
A 2.5% ClassWallet processing fee is included in all ESA invoices. This fee is non-refundable.
Promo codes are accepted — contact info@elyit.combefore submitting your enrollment request if you have a promo code.
Course Sequencing
The same sequential course-unlock rules apply to ESA-enrolled students as all other students.
- Students cannot begin a second course until the first is marked complete in Moodle.
- This sequencing ensures compliance with ADE's requirement to bill only for services actively in progress.
Refunds for ESA Enrollments
ESA refunds are governed by Arizona Department of Education (ADE) policy. ElyIT cannot refund ESA dollars back to the family — unused funds are returned directly to ADE.
